Tips, tricks, and tutorials for all things hair, skin, and especially makeup... on a minimum wage budget :)

First Impression: Hallelujah!
My hair feels about 90% better! The first time I massaged the shampoo into my hair, it didn’t really lather and my hair didn’t quite feel clean yet, so I massaged some more shampoo in and it immediately lathered up. It claims to give your hair a tingly feel, but I honestly didn’t feel it. It has a minty, medicinal smell, but I’m not really very picky and am in no place to care. I just wanted it to work. I then evenly distributed the conditioner throughout my ends and scalp, using a wide toothed comb. I normally don’t put conditioner on my scalp to avoid excess oiliness. This time though, I really didn’t mind letting the tea tree oil and citric acid settle on my scalp after all the dryness I’ve had underneath the weird waxy stuff. (My hair has been insane.) After rinsing, combing, and letting it air dry, I am loving how it feels. There is little to no waxy residue left. My hair feels clean, and soft (even without leave-in conditioner on my ends like I usually do). I haven’t given the co-washing with the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat conditioner yet, but so far I’m really happy with the results.
I read some horror stories online of women who dealt with my stupid hair problem for months before finding the right concoction. SO glad I got results right off the bat.
